Guests are all welcome to enjoy the fully equipped, self catering facilities of the main lodge at anytime. Each chalet is allocated it’s own large fridge in the kitchen area where you’ll also find 2 fully functional ovens and stove tops. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you will need, there are even coffee plungers to keep you fuelled during your stay. All you need to bring is your food and drinks. The main lodge has a large dining area where guests can enjoy a meal or even some games. There is a bar between the dining and lounging area with an ice-machine and bar fridge to keep your drinks well chilled. Plug points with USB ports can be found behind the bar counter to make sure your mobile devices stay charged. Our pool area is fully visible from the main lodge, allowing parents to keep an eye on the younger ones on those hot summer days.
There are 2 braai(BBQ) areas at Stone Kraal lodge for the guests to make us of. The main braai area is an enclosed boma, designed for everyone to sit around the fire and enjoy that feeling of staring into the “bush tv” long after enjoying your favourite flame grilled meal. The second braai area is nestled under the trees of our mini forest and inside one of the old, ancient stonekraals where there are multiple braais for the more private occasions.
Stone Kraal Lodge prides itself in being home to many smaller wildlife species as well as a multitude of bird species which can be spotted along our network of short hiking trails around the property or around our small dam which is teaming with life, especially in those warmer summer months. The sunset views reflecting off the dam can also make for some beautiful photographs…

It is a brand new lodge with lots of attention to detail and finishing touches. It has a nice pool and comfy Boma in the midst of the chalets. There is plenty of space in the communal building including a well equipped kitchen with a separate fridge for each chalet. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend for everyone who considers staying in that area.
